about getting vs about having

Referente ao curso 9. Fazendo perguntas no passado e usando preposições, no capítulo Getting a tattoo (Fazendo uma tatuagem) e atividade Eu estou pensando em fazer uma tatuagem.

Good morning,

i was practicing and i had a doubt about this phrase:

I'm thinking about getting a tattoo.

For me looks like the same that:

I'm thinking about having a tattoo.

Is there some difference between both?

Olá Robert,

O verbo "to get" é o verbo usado para dizer que você vai fazer uma tatuagem. Usar o verbo "to have" aqui seria o sentido de "ter", "possuir" mesmo:

  • Do you have any tattoos? (Você tem alguma tatuagem?)
